Baltika head coach Andrei Talalaev has responded to comments made by former Zenit midfielder Vladislav Radimov, who claimed the Kaliningrad side lacked the energy to finish the season strong in the Russian Premier League.
When asked about Radimov’s remarks that Baltika “didn’t have enough strength for the end of the season,” Talalaev stated: “I don’t discuss the words of cowards, scoundrels, and idlers,” as reported by RB Sport.
Baltika currently sits in fifth place in the Russian championship with 46 points from 29 matches. The team has recorded four draws and three losses in their last seven games. In the final round of the season, Kaliningrad will host Moscow’s Dynamo at home.
