Russian tennis star Mirra Andreeva has climbed one spot to seventh in the latest Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, according to the updated standings released on the organization’s official website.
The 19-year-old, who is currently Russia’s top-ranked player, advanced to the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid last week, where she fell to Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk. Andreeva now holds 4,181 ranking points.
Among other Russian women in the top 30, Ekaterina Alexandrovais ranked 14th with 2,669 points. Diana Shnaider dropped to 20th (1,946 points), Liudmila Samsonova is 21st (1,895), and Anna Kalinskaya sits at 24th (1,758).
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka remains the world No. 1 with 10,110 points. Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina is second (8,555), followed by Poland’s Iga Swiatek in third (6,948). The top five also includes Americans Coco Gauff (6,749) and Jessica Pegula (6,136).
The Madrid final marked Andreeva’s third career appearance at a WTA 1000 final. She previously won the Dubai and Indian Wells titles in 2025.
