Spain has been flawless in the tournament so far, securing three wins (against Great Britain, Latvia, and Slovenia) with an average margin of 37.8 points. Their next challenge comes on Tuesday in the round of 16 against the Czech Republic, a team that has yet to play in the Romanian tournament.
The game saw Slovenia’s last lead at 6-4, but Spain responded with a 2-14 run to end the first quarter 8-18. The advantage grew to 16 points by halftime (14-30) and reached 20 by the end of the third quarter (25-45).
