CSKA Moscow has announced the contract extension of 36-year-old guard Kasper Ware. The new deal was signed at a unique location — the observation deck of the “OKO” tower in Moscow City, standing 354 meters above ground.
“After finalizing the agreement with Kasper in a mine in Norilsk, the next announcement had to be just as extraordinary,” said club general director Andrey Vatutin, as quoted by the team’s press service.
This season, Ware is averaging 12.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
“I’m happy to continue my career at CSKA. I love the club, I love Moscow, and I enjoy working with my teammates and the coaching staff. Let’s keep winning together!” Ware added in an official statement released by CSKA.
