The English winger, who can also operate as a striker, is particularly favored by Hansi Flick. However, his high price tag is the main obstacle to securing a forward under contract until 2030. SPORT spoke to two journalists who cover Newcastle United daily — Raff Tindale (Hayters TV) and Sean McCormick (Chronical Live) — to understand how interest in Gordon is viewed from northeast England and the realistic chances of him donning the Blaugrana shirt next season.
