The New York Knicks secured a 2-0 series lead over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, but the victory was overshadowed by a concerning injury to forward OG Anunoby, who exited late in the fourth quarter with an apparent right hamstring issue.
Anunoby seemed to aggravate the injury during a missed dunk attempt with just over three minutes remaining in the game. After landing awkwardly, he grabbed the back of his leg and was later seen limping as he ran back up the court. The 28-year-old eventually signaled to the bench for a substitution and was removed shortly afterward.
“It looked like he was hopping, but I don’t know anything,” Knicks head coach Mike Brown said after the game. “They haven’t told me. I just know he left the game. Nobody said he was back. I haven’t talked to anybody yet.”

As of Thursday, the Knicks had not released any further details regarding the severity of the injury or Anunoby’s availability for the remainder of the series.
